Stories of Childhood Memories | Tales and Trails hosted by The First Clap
Tickets: $22.00
Remember when playing was your full-time job?
No deadlines. No worries. Just hopscotch, ice cream trucks, and the pure joy of being alive in the moment.
Somewhere between then and now, we forgot how to play.
But those memories? They're still inside you.
Reminiscing about childhood doesn't just feel good — it reconnects you to who you truly are. To the version of you that laughed without reason, loved without conditions, and saw wonder in everything.
Whatever your memories are — the smell of your grandmother's kitchen, the friends you ran the streets with until the streetlights came on, the games you invented with nothing but imagination — those moments shaped you.
Come back to that.
Join us at The First Clap for an evening of childhood memories and live storytelling — where the stories that made you finally get to be heard out loud.
Facilitator Bio:
Deepa Joshi is the founder of First Clap, a community storytelling experience rooted in love, kindness, and compassion. Born out of a simple but powerful belief — that no one should have to carry their story alone — First Clap creates intimate spaces where real people gather to speak, listen, and be seen. As a community builder and storytelling advocate, Deepa understands that connection begins the moment someone decides to share what's true for them. First Clap grew from that conviction: that when one person is brave enough to speak, something shifts for everyone in the room. Through timed storytelling sessions, circles of praise, and the warmth of shared meals, First Clap has become a place where vulnerability is welcomed, laughter is plenty, and every story — messy, beautiful, or both — finds its first applause.
"There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you." — Maya Angelou First Clap exists so that no one ever has to.
