Yoga Nidra is a sleep-based meditation that uses breath and body awareness techniques to quiet the mind, allowing for deep restoration of the body. It’s meditation made easy!

Dr. Aarti Soorya, an Integrative Medicine Physician, blends her conventional medical background with nervous system training to help individuals build resilience. She has found Yoga Nidra to be one of the most transformative ways of being for fostering adaptability and vitality. Dr. Soorya is trained in the I AM Yoga Nidra method from the Amrit Yoga Institute. She has been featured as an expert in Women's Health, Forbes, and the Wall Street Journal.

What you will need:

1. Yoga Mat
2. Pillows for underneath your head and knees. Extra pillows if you have sensitive areas like your elbows and heels
3. Eye mask
4. Blanket

IMPORTANT: Please plan to arrive early as no late arrivals will be permitted once the meditation begins.

Side effects: Since Yoga Nidra mimics sleep, you may experience some detox reactions such as increased emotions, fever, flu-like symptoms, or headache etc. These are temporary and should mitigate within 12-24 hours. This is usually seen with regular practice but something to keep on your radar. Hydrate after practice.
