About Big Joe Fauria
Big Joe, a Los Angeles native, began his yoga journey in 2009 while playing football at UCLA and later spent four years in the NFL before a career-ending ankle injury shifted his path. Facing anxiety and depression, he turned inward in 2018, committing to a daily practice of meditation and breathwork. Over the past several years, he has earned multiple certifications in trauma-release breathwork and pranayama, studying alongside shamanic healers and indigenous leaders. Joe has since guided transformative breathwork experiences across the U.S. and internationally, helping others reconnect, heal, and step into their purpose. Blending movement, music, and presence, he creates powerful spaces for deep inner connection and growth.
