About the event
Tickets: $30.00
Spend a Monday evening with a Yoga, Sound Immersion and Breath Work practice, allowing yourself to tap in to a frequency that allows expansion into stillness. Be present, with self. No obligations or expectations. Simply fill the space with presence.
In the first hour, your journey begins with breath work and meditation to slow down and clear space. Bringing awareness to self. By deepening into a moment of clarity and connection, we will set an intention that leads you into a Hatha Yoga practice by using movement, concentration and breath to continue to clear and feel grounded. Honoring yourself and the intention that was set.
In the second hour, movement becomes stillness. An immersive sound bath will lead you deeper and expand further within your intended space. Simply to do nothing, but be present. No judgement. No expectations. Just simply be and allow yourself to give in to the universal bliss consciousness to carry you.
Let go. Let be. Be with.
Facilitator Bios:
Yaseen Khan (from Patterns for Stillness)
Yaseen has been guiding yogi practitioners since 2018 offering classes in a wide range of settings-from studios and one-on-one sessions, to sports teams, classrooms, corporate events and festivals. Carrying a deep respect for the roots of yoga, Yaseen’s offerings honor the traditions of the practice and the many mentors and teachers who have influenced his journey. His approach is essentially rooted in finding a state of self-awareness, allowing space for stillness. Drawing from modalities such as breath work, concentration, meditation, movement and postural alignment, this welcomes the opportunity to find clarity, to clear what's needed and ground oneself with intention. Yaseen embraces yogis of all levels into his classes, with the belief that each practice is a personal journey. His intention is for every student to leave with a sense of rootedness, growth and connection to themselves. While he may serve as a guide, Yaseen sees himself first and foremost as a fellow yogi, practicing and learning alongside you in every session, committed to the shared path of finding our own personal stillness.
Kristen Smetek
Kristen is a sound and vibrational therapies practitioner who discovered the benefits of sound and vibration after a shoulder injury that changed the course of her career. As a former hairstylist for almost twenty years - her primary focus has always been that of wellness and giving others the opportunity to feel good about themselves and better about life in general. In September of 2025, she completed a sound and vibrational practitioner certification program at Meditate: School of Mindfulness in Palm Desert, California. She has since hosted multiple sound therapy sessions both indoor and outdoor - continuing her wellness focused journey. For Kristen, guiding public groups has been both terrifying and rewarding, but every time she see the serene faces of the souls who have enjoyed her sessions, she knows that she chose the right path. The science is captivating to Kristen. The power of resonance and entrainment as healing tools are a part of physics that she believes has a profound impact. In her sessions, she leads attendee into a space that allows the mind and body a chance to slow down and disconnect from chaotic daily life. That’s when the healing happens. Kristen sees herself as merely a woman, providing a safe space and an opportunity for these things to occur. Feeling delighted to share this journey with you!
